latest happening in the Jacobsen house

Well guess what the summer flew by and now it is football season. Are we ever home? NO!
We have football Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday. I have mutual on Wednesday. That leaves Mondays that are normally crazy from work.
We have had a busy summer, My Aunt and her family came and visited, then my grandma came for a day, then my older brother and his family came for a couple weeks and visited.
Well as most of you know we are expecting number 4 in March, this will be closest gap between any of our kids putting Kadence and the baby 25 months apart. This will be interesting since she loves babies. Our friends have a 4 month old and she gets loves from Kadence everytime Kadence sees her. I am not to excited about this one but the rest of the family can't wait. Everyone else thinks it is a girl, I think it is a boy. We will see who is right. Taedyn asked my yesterday if I still had the glue in bows from Kadence. I said no I don't why. He said "we are going to need them for our other sister." I said we can't put bows on a boy. He said "mom I know it is a girl." I hope he is right but I think it is a boy. I would love a girl then Kadence would have a sister. We are done for sure. This is it. Bo even agrees this time.

Busy Times

Well it is starting to get really busy for us. A fun busy now. Along with work not slowing down this year like it did last year. Thursday the 15 we are headed to Vancouver. We are going to get Braycen and Kadence US Citizenship done. They are already Citizens but we are going to get the paper for then so they never have any issues. While we are in Vancouver we are going to take the kids to the Vancouver Temple open house. The boys keep saying "we get to go in? We really get to go all the way in and see everything? We don't have to wait for you guys?" We keep telling them yes you get to see what a temple looks like on the inside. This will be such a good experience for them. They are at the age they will remember this experience. We return on the 18 and Bo and I are taking off on the 20 for a full week in Hawaii. We are both so excited and can't wait. The count down is on. We get back then a couple weeks later we are going for our yearly trip to Idaho. My boys are counting that trip down. Braycen and I were chatting the other day and he says "Mom I love you and everyone in Idaho that I miss so much." I ask him like who? He says"my Uncle Kenny, my Aunt Lindsay, Austin, Kyle, Braxten, Brimlee, and everyone else." Taedyn on the other had is trying to tell us he is staying there and not coming back. He is going to move in with his Aunt Jessie, and Uncle John. And stay and play with all his cousins. The boys miss their Cousins so much.

Time is Flying

Well it has been awhile since I have posted. I love reading others blogs and I think it is time I update mine for those who want to know what is going on in our lives. Well we had a wonderful Christmas. We were suppose to go to Idaho but with work being so busy for us we weren't able to make it. Santa brought the boys DS's. That was one smart Santa. It is quiet in the car when we travel now. We were able to go to Edmonton and meet our good friends there for the weekend. We really enjoyed ourselves and the much needed get a way. Thanks Wade and Rayna for the fun time. Here is an update on all of us

Bo & Deni- Busy with work still working for the same company. Nice to go to lunch together. We are looking forward to our much needed get a way trip to Hawaii in April to celebrate our 10 yr anniversary. Our anniversary is actually Aug. 11 but do to work we are going in April when it is our slow time.

Taedyn- Got his first report card for grade one and his interm report for second term. He is still well advanced in his class he had exceeding except in one place. He likes to share the answers with the other kids and help them out to much because he is done instead of letting them figure things out on his own. He only brings home french reading now because in October he had gone through all the English books the teacher had for him. He is in a school play Alice in Wonderland. He is so excited and loving every minute of it.

Braycen- Is loving preschool. He is growing up so fast. He is such a tease. He loves his little sister. She thinks a little to much sometime because she is always getting hugs from him. He can't wait to go to school next year.

Kadence- Has been walking since she was 9 months old. She is starting to run. We have enjoyed her so much. It is so fun for me to have a girl in the house. Her hair is getting long to put elastics in. She keeps us laughing. She love to give hugs and loves. She is a mommy's girl. No matter how much Bo wants her to be a daddy's girl she loves mom. I love it. She is very greedy with her kisses, and loves to tease us. We ask for a kiss she will act like she is giving us one and then duck her head and laugh. She will be the big 1 on Sunday the 7th. I am so sad to think how fast she is growing time is flying.

We are looking forward to our yearly trip to Idaho in May. The boys are already talking about it and what they are going to do with there cousins that they miss so much. We are hoping to be able to get some visits in with some of our friends that we haven't seen in a long time while we are down there.
